About Adobe Illustrator 2024
Adobe Inc., released the updater for Illustrator 2024 on October 11, 2023.
Adobe Illustrator 2024
We have been verifying our subscription plug-ins with Illustrator 2024 and confirmed that operations generally work. We will continue to investigate and if any errors occur, we will immediately evaluate and let you know.
If possible, please kindly refrain from updating your software soon after the release. Perhaps, it may not be too late to consider updating again after a month or so.
Furthermore, please kindly note that when you update Adobe Illusrator, you will need to reinstall our subscription plug-ins. Our plug-ins will not be migrated to the new version automatically .
Please download our plug-ins with the latest version and re-install.
Automatic updating of Adobe Illustrator
This might be useful if you can reconfirm your Adobe Creative Cloud setting about updating applications. If you select “Auto-update”, needless to say, all applications will keep up to date setting. In case you do not prefer auto updating of your Illustrator, we would like to recommend to set Off the setting.
How to set Off Auto-update
1) Log in Creative Cloud
Log in Creative Cloud > go “Preference”
2) Off Automatic Updating
Off the Auto-update as marked below
If you need to update to Illustrator 2024
Regardless of the use of our plug-ins, if you need to update to Illustrator 2024, please confirm the setting in prior. Please ensure to Uncheck the “Remove old versions” found in the advanced options.
If you leave the check box “Checked” and complete the installation, all versions of Illustrator 2023 and older will be removed.
In this case, please kindly note that you will not be able to use any of our plug-ins used with the deleted versions.
How to Uncheck “Remove old versions”
1) Go to Update
Updates > Click “Update” of the application
Please ensure to uncheck and continue.
About macOS Sonoma (14.0)
A new version of macOS, OS 14.0 (Sonoma), is now available.
Regarding the update, if possible, please kindly refrain immediately after release. Perhaps, we can wait a while before considering updating again.
(As of October 11, 2023, there are some web. articles about its bugs.)
Regarding compatibility of Illustrator with macOS 14 (Sonoma), it is recommended Illustrator 2024 (internal version 28.0) released in October 2023. Illustrator 2023 and previous versions may not be recommended.
How to continue to use our plug-ins
As updating Illustrator or Mac OS may cause the plug-ins to stop working properly, we would like to recommend you to maintain the environment in which our plug-ins are currently working. We will keep updating results of our verification.
Current status of our plug-ins operations
As of October 27, 2023, we have confirmed that installation, launch and operations of our subscription plug-ins in Illustrator 2024 generally work. We will continue to investigate and if any problems occur, we will proceed correcting immediately.
Regarding macOS, operation check is being performed in OS 14.0 (Sonoma).
