About the Getting Started Guide
This guide was originally sold for many years following the release of the iPM plugin software.
The content was supervised by Koichi Tamaki, the creator of the software. While the Illustrator version shown in the guide is an older release, the pattern-making techniques and workflows explained in the text remain relevant and useful today.
At just 26 pages, this guide may feel more like a booklet than a typical Illustrator manual. However, the Illustrator skills required for garment pattern making are surprisingly straightforward, and the guide covers the essential operations you need to get started.
